Football Saved My Life (FSML) is a movement dedicated to empowering players and making the sport more accessible through art, storytelling, and collaboration. The brand identity was built to honor the game’s history while amplifying its cultural impact today.


Developed in collaboration with Messan Studios, the FSML logo draws inspiration from the original World Cup trophy and incorporates elements reflecting the founder’s Togolese heritage and deep connection to the sport. The result is a mark that feels both historic and personal — a symbol of pride, resilience, and belonging.


A series of football jerseys were designed to be featured at the Matchweek Program Exhibit. Inspired by late ’90s fan-style jersey culture, the collection celebrated the art of bootlegs and their influence on global football culture, blending nostalgia with contemporary design. Each jersey was created to embody the initiative’s spirit and cultural roots, transforming FSML’s message into a wearable story. The project captured football’s enduring connection to community, creativity, and self-expression — a tribute to the sport’s lasting impact both on and off the field.
